David Kilpatrick

Mr. Kilpatrick is President of Kilpatrick Energy Group, which invests in oil and gas ventures and provides executive management consulting services. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cheniere Energy Inc. and Breitburn Energy Partners, L.P. Mr. Kilpatrick also served as Chairman of the Board of PYR Energy Corporation and as a Director of Whittier Energy Corporation. Formerly, Mr. Kilpatrick was President and Chief Operating Officer of Monterey Resources Inc., the largest independent oil company in California, until its merger with Texaco in 1998. He also held various management positions with Monterey’s predecessor firm, Santa Fe Energy Resources, from 1983 to 1996. Mr. Kilpatrick earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology and Physics from Whittier College.
