Donald Runkle
Mr. Runkle was named Chairman of EaglePicher Corporation in 2006. He also serves on the boards of WinCup, ESP Holdings, Lear Corp and Transonic Combustion. He is CEO of EcoMotors, developing a revolutionary engine funded by Khosla Ventures and Bill Gates. Mr. Runkle is a former Vice-Chairman and CTO of Delphi Corporation, where he also served on the Board of Directors and Strategy Board. As Delphi Vice-Chairman, Mr. Runkle was the senior executive for deploying lean principles, streamlining and integrating engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing. As CTO, Runkle was responsible for global supply management, manufacturing and engineering oversight, research and development, the commercial vehicle account, and the DaimlerChrysler account. In 1998/99, Runkle co-led the IPO and spin-off of Delphi from General Motors. Mr. Runkle began his career at General Motors in 1968, where he served in many roles culminating as VP and Chief Engineer.
