Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC (TCP) is a leading multi-strategy alternative investment management firm focused primarily on credit opportunities. Since the firm’s founding in 1999, TCP has invested $10 billion in approximately 200 portfolio companies through its credit opportunities strategy, in addition to investments by specialty funds focused on debtor-in-possession financing, and convertible and event-driven strategies. Today, the firm has capital under management of approximately $5 billion.

TCP targets primarily U.S. middle-market credits where the firm can play a meaningful role in each situation, in investment positions of up to $250 million. Our principals have significant experience crafting unique solutions throughout the capital structure of both publicly-traded and privately-held companies.
